主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
V G R Chandran is Professor of Industrial Development at the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Business and Economics at University of Malaya. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and his research interests are mainly on innovation, technology development, trade and globalization that relate to industrial development. With extensive fieldwork across Asia, his research spans multiple sectors including electronics, automotive, renewable energy, etc. He has served as a consultant for international organizations like OECD, UNEP, UNESCO, etc., and contributed significantly to Malaysian regulatory reform efforts, STI and Industrial policy development. As the recipient of prestigious national and international grants such as the EU Horizon 2020, his work is widely cited in government policy documents and has driven numerous policy changes.
V G R Chandran現(xiàn)任馬來(lái)亞大學(xué)商業(yè)與經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院發(fā)展研究系工業(yè)發(fā)展教授，擁有經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)博士學(xué)位。他的研究主要聚焦與工業(yè)發(fā)展相關(guān)的創(chuàng)新、技術(shù)發(fā)展、貿(mào)易及全球化領(lǐng)域。通過(guò)在亞洲地區(qū)廣泛的實(shí)地研究，其工作覆蓋電子、汽車(chē)、可再生能源等多個(gè)行業(yè)。他曾擔(dān)任經(jīng)濟(jì)合作與發(fā)展組織（OECD）、聯(lián)合國(guó)環(huán)境規(guī)劃署（UNEP）、聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織（UNESCO）等國(guó)際機(jī)構(gòu)的咨詢(xún)顧問(wèn)，并對(duì)馬來(lái)西亞監(jiān)管體制改革、科技創(chuàng)新與產(chǎn)業(yè)政策制定作出重要貢獻(xiàn)。作為歐盟“地平線(xiàn)2020”等國(guó)內(nèi)外知名資助項(xiàng)目的獲得者，其研究成果被政府政策文件廣泛引用，推動(dòng)了多項(xiàng)重大政策變革。
內(nèi)容提要：
This presentation examines the global value chain (GVC) of the healthcare sector, with a particular focus on medical devices and healthcare services. It highlights the role of digital adoption across different segments of the GVC, assessing how key technology is reshaping the sector. The discussion further explores key challenges and emerging opportunities within the sector, culminating in policy recommendations aimed at strengthening competitiveness, enhancing innovation, and ensuring inclusive access to healthcare.
本講座將深入探討醫(yī)療保健行業(yè)的全球價(jià)值鏈（GVC），重點(diǎn)關(guān)注醫(yī)療器械與醫(yī)療服務(wù)兩大領(lǐng)域，著重分析數(shù)字化技術(shù)在全球價(jià)值鏈不同環(huán)節(jié)中的作用，并評(píng)估關(guān)鍵技術(shù)如何重塑行業(yè)格局。此外，講座還將進(jìn)一步探討該領(lǐng)域面臨的核心挑戰(zhàn)與新興機(jī)遇，并最終提出旨在增強(qiáng)產(chǎn)業(yè)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力、推動(dòng)創(chuàng)新突破、確保醫(yī)療普惠可及的政策建議。
